Healthcare

Viewers and editors for clinical and administrative health data: HL7 v2 messages, HIPAA X12 transactions, DICOM images and Noah audiograms.

Health systems talk in formats of their own. HL7 v2 messages carry admissions, orders and results between hospital systems; HIPAA X12 transactions carry claims, remittances and eligibility checks between providers and payers; DICOM files hold medical images and everything about the study they belong to; Noah's NHAX files hold patients' hearing tests.

The tools here open these files, name every field and tag, check them against their specifications, and let them be corrected, de-identified or exported. Because these files are about patients, they are handled with particular care: they are read only in your browser and are never uploaded, and the tools' pages show no advertising. The viewers are for working with the files, not for diagnosis.

What the Healthcare tools do

  • Patient data stays here

Files are opened in your browser and never sent anywhere; the tool pages load no ads and no ad scripts.

  • Fields and tags explained

HL7 fields, X12 elements, DICOM tags and audiogram points are shown with their names and meanings.

  • Validate, fix, de-identify

Check messages against the standard, edit values, recompute counts, and remove identifying data from DICOM studies.
